Café Umbrellas - commercial market umbrellas for resorts, restaurants, pools
Café Umbrellas by Shade Systems are portable and collapsible, and provide convenient shading for a variety of outdoor environments such as pools, water parks, theme parks, concessions, restaurants, patios, and any other outdoor gathering places where people desire protection from the sun's dangerous U.V. rays. Cafe Umbrellas are large commercial market umbrellas which provide protection from the sun at resorts, hotels, restaurants, country clubs, and pools, while adding style and color to outdoor dining and gathering areas.
Unlike umbrellas with a center post that gets in the way, the distinctive Cafe Umbrella design features a cantilevered "offset" support post which allows maximum flexibility for seating underneath. Café Umbrellas are commercial quality and feature an innovative patented crank mechanism which allows a single person to quickly and easily collapse the umbrella to a folded position. Just turn a single crank conveniently located behind the umbrella's support column, and the canopy folds in case of inclement weather! See the video for a demonstration of how it works.
Cafe Umbrellas are LARGE! Even our smallest size covers a generous 10'x10' square (100 s.f.), and the cantilevered offset support column allows for lots of seating underneath the cool shade. Frames are constructed of heavy gauge aluminum tubing and stainless steel components for strength, yet are lightweight for easy portability. All metal surfaces have a U.V. stabilized polyester powder-coat finish, available in a variety of durable colors.
Canopies are available in our CoolNet™ shade fabric for maximum Ultra Violet (U.V.) protection and cooling effect, or with our optional water-repellant WeatherNet™ fabric.
