Ocala, Florida – April 11, 2008 - Shade Systems is proud to announce it has recently provided a custom ‘Sail’ shade system for the Freedom Playground at the City of Tampa’s MacFarlane Park.  The tri-colored sail design from Shade Systems was specified by Hardeman Kempton & Associates, Landscape Architects, in conjunction with the City of Tampa’s Parks and Recreation Department.

Covering over 1,000 square feet, the brightly colored Sails are part of a “nautical” theme at the all-accessible playground, and are designed to shield children and parents at the playground from up to 99% of the sun’s dangerous U.V. rays in cool comfort.
